Stainless Steel Cable Glands

Stainless steel cable glands are a connection device often used in power systems. Mainly suitable for outdoor products, medium and large remote control machinery, and some equipment whose main body is in the outdoor control system but not on the main body.

Yueqing Jixiang Connector Co., Ltd has gained the certification of High-tech Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) in Zhejiang Province. Stainless steel cable glands are approved by ISO9001, CE, TUV, IP68, ROHS, REACH and the patent for utility models.Where there are cables, there are cable glands! we believe you can find some suitable items as requests at JiXiang Company. In the future, JiXiang will continue to develop new solutions to figure out the customers' challenging problems.

What is Stainless Steel Cable Glands?

Stainless steel is an iron and chromium alloy. Stainless steel’s corrosion resistance and mechanical properties can be further enhanced by adding other elements, such as nickel, molybdenum, titanium, niobium, manganese, etc.

Classification of stainless steel

There are five main families, which are primarily classified by their crystalline structure: austenitic, ferritic, martensitic, duplex, and precipitation hardening.

Type 304 stainless steel is an austenitic stainless steel and is the most common stainless steel.

The steel contains both chromium (between 18% and 20%) and nickel (between 8% and 10.5%)[1] metals as the main non-iron constituents.

The other popular grade of stainless steel is Stainless steel 316, also is an austenitic stainless steel.

Stainless steel 316 is generally composed of 16 to 18% chromium, 10 to 14% nickel, 2 to 3% molybdenum, and a small percentage of carbon.

The most common stainless steel cable glands is SS304 cable glands and SS316 / SS316L cable glands.
